(stv) Colin Firth and The King's Speech were the clear winners at this year's awards, with Harry Potter coming a close second and picking up two awards.
The results of the L'Oreal Paris National Movie Awards are in, with The King's Speech the clear winner of the evening.
Hosted by Daybreak presenter, Christine Bleakley, the glittering occasion saw some of the world’s favourite films and movie stars battling it out to scoop the title of Best Fantasy, Best Drama, Must See Movie, Best Comedy, Best Animation, One to Watch (Brits going global) and Performance of the Year.
Last year, Robert Pattinson and Twilight emerged triumphant with Eclipse winning Most Anticipated Movie of the Summer, New Moon winning Best Fantasy and R-Pattz winning Performance of the Year.
This year those vampires were nowhere to be seen and it was The King's Speech that cleaned up, with the film winning Best Drama and Special Recognition awards and Colin Firth winning Performance of the Year.
The Harry Potter films also won two awards: Best Fantasy for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Must See Movie of the Summer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.
Stars who took to the red carpet included James McAvoy, Gwyneth Paltrow and Gossip Girl heartthrob, Ed Westwick.
For the music lovers amongst us, there were performances from JLS and Take That, whose latest single, Love Love, features in X-Men: First Class.
